Florals were the first things that inspired Garry when the came to Hawaii. He has always been captivated with the colors and varieties of florals found throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Garry has been illustrating the vintage feeling of Nostalgic travel posters and Vargas style Pin-ups for over 30 years.

Military Images

A side step of the Nostalgic images are the historic themed military paintings Garry has created over the years. Hawaii holds a very important place in the US history of WWII, from Pearl Harbor to the USS Missouri, there are so many reminders of Hawaii’s role in WWII.

Garry is always available for personalized watercolor paintings, (Commissions) just for you. Garry has completed many commissioned paintings over the years, often tackling idea that no other artist would attempt. Larger sizes do not scare Garry either, the largest commission he has ever done was over eight feet long! From a portrait of a lionfish mermaid to a lovely lady who wanted to be Barbie, almost no subject is too difficult for Garry.
