Ronald Reagan (Garry’s very first watercolor)

Painted on 90lb watercolor paper, this original “Ronald Reagan, Time Man of the Year” is Garry’s Very 1st watercolor, painted on December 6th, 1980, while he was a Senior in High School. Nothing political, his Art professor wanted to challenge him with a new medium, watercolors, instead of the oil painting he had been using. Garry still proclaims it is one of the best portaits he has ever done. This painting was created on 2 days before John Lennon was murdered, a true shock in our school and all over the world. A true piece of History.
